🎸 The Lower Reedy Gator Haters 🎸

"Official Halftime Entertainment Since Nobody Else Would Do It"

🎤 About The Band

The Lower Reedy Gator Haters are South Carolina's premier (and only) swamp rock band dedicated exclusively to entertaining confused wrestling audiences during halftime. Formed in 1993 when three local musicians realized they could make $50 per show playing between gator matches, the Gator Haters have been providing questionable entertainment for over three decades.

Their unique sound blends southern rock, blues, country, and the distant screaming of previous wrestlers. Critics have described their music as "surprisingly competent given the circumstances" and "better than watching people get stitched up." The band's motto: "We're not great, but we're here."

Fun Fact:

The Gator Haters hold the record for most performances interrupted by escaped alligators (7). They also hold the record for fastest equipment teardown time (45 seconds).

📅 Upcoming Performances

Catch us live at every LRAWL event! We perform during halftime, typically 90 minutes into each event (or whenever the medics finish with the first round of injuries).

Note: Performance times may vary depending on gator cooperation and medical needs. We reserve the right to cut sets short if alligators escape.
